Charles H. and Charles Brainard deeds, 1827-1888.

Deeds for land primarily in Hartford, Connecticut, but also for land in the Connecticut towns of Rocky Hill, Middletown, Wethersfield, Meriden, New Britain, and Berlin, and one document transferring ownership of four lots in Hartford's Spring Grove Cemetery. The deeds were between various owners and Charles Brainard & Son, Charles Brainard, and Charles H. Brainard. Father and son Brainard were iron and tin merchants from 1835-1850. Charles H. was one of the organizers of the State Bank and served on the Board of Directors for many years.
